If there will be ever any perfect batting score card for Delhi, then this will be this. An ideal batting performance where each player got a start, capitalised, supported each other and the best thing was, all of their top 6 showed one thing, to be in prime of their form: A good sign indeed.
Well, fab four for DD: Nair, Shreyas, Pant and Samson clicked and clicked together. Proves why Indian Cricket future is in good and safe hands. Nevertheless, SRH tired everything they could. Yuvraj marked his return to the scheme of things and that too in a vintage yuvi way. The same flick, same pull and the same hook. Indeed a legend.
Bad day for Delhi Pacers. Mishra and Jayant did try to contain the batsman but other bowlers couldn’t support well. Shami did bowl some good mixture but he was ineffective towards the end.
DD played a good Cricket and made their presence felt in the points table. Rashid Khan was economical and Siraj khan, with his mixtures, took two wickets but was expensive. Corey Anderson finished off things well. Nevertheless, a welcome win for DD.
Catch the same space, tomorrow.
